How To Reset/Unlock your Android phone if forgotten pattern lock June 2015

Today almost every one is using smartphones i mean Android mobiles as the prices are slashed below our budget and can get affordable smartphone/Android mobile packed with awesome features.
and with this smartphones we are addicted to online life and most important privacy at risk and most of us use Pattern lock to protect our smartphone in being secured for unauthorized access.

What if you have forgotten pattern lock of your smartphone/Android phone ?

well then this post is for you which will give you an insight on how to unlock/recover or reset your phone if you have forgotten Android pattern lock.

How To Unlock forgotten Android device pattern lock:

There are many features and methods available if you google it but iam providing you easy and best ways to unlock your android device.

First method is using your Gmail account:

1)This is the easy way of recovering your phone if locked and i guess everyone might register there mobile with their Gmail account to access playstore and this will help you,all you have to do is 
draw the random patterns on your pattern lock and after 5 attempts it will display 


you have incorrectly drawn your unlock pattern 5times and please try after 30 seconds

2)After 30 seconds try again and you will get forgot pattern option and you just have to tap it and it will ask your gmail account connected with the device and just fill all the details ,thats it you have unlocked your smartphone.

wait? what if you dont know the Gmail account connected with the device then adb shell will help you to remove/reset your pattern lock fo Android device,follow the below steps to do that..

1)Basic requirement and to work this method usb debugging mode should be enabled as its enable us to connect with the shell command and can successfully reset pattern lock.
2)If you know that usb debugging mode is enabled then simply connect your smartphone with pc and open command,i hope you know how to open cmd prompt..

3) Now just type below code into Run command:

“Adb shell

cd/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases

sqlite3 settings.db

update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock';

update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedout permanently';

.quit“

4)After running the command as above just reboot your smartphone and you will be presented with pattern lock again dont panic,you have option to create new pattern lock and create new ,access your mobile.

OH problem with this method also then you must try the below method which is an alternative of all above and dont need technical knowledge.

Make sure that you will lost all data as its wipes off everything of your smartphone if nothing works then you have to try this as there is no alternatinve methods to access your locked smartphone/Android device.



1)First switch off your smartphone

2)At the same time hold the Up/down volume with power button to restart and Android Recovery mode will be enabled,Android system recovery mode will depend on the model of your smartphone as volume and power button pressing at the same time will not enable android recovery mode and may be differ you may try googling.

3)You can use volume up and down buttons to scroll on the options in android recovery system mode and you have to choose wipedata/factory reset to reset your android device and reboot after that...

  2. If you are having Android 5.1 or higher, then your device will safe to prevent other people from using it, if it will reset to the factory settings. You can ensure that is it really doing the reset, then you can enter a Google username and password which is associated with the device after factory reset.

  3. We can disable our lock screen using custom recovery and pattern password disable. So we need a custom recovery installed and our phone must have an SD card slot too.

  4. It's frustrating when I want to open my phone and I forgot my lock screen pattern. But finally I found a way to use my Google account to hardly reset my device.
